NOTE:
Two identical photographic prints, vertically juxtaposed, traversed by the word ‘Dramophone’ stamped on a piece of cardboard placed between the two photos at a slight diagonal. Shot by Elisabetta Catalano during the ‘first station’ of the performance at the Cannaviello Gallery in Rome (inv. 1136), the images show a dog sitting in front of a gramophone, a living representation of Francis James Barraud’s painting that became the logo for the record label ‘La voce del padrone’ (His Master’s Voice).
Exhibitions:
1999, Brescia, Galleria Valentina Zatta, Giuseppe Chiari / Fabio Mauri, 27 February – 11 April.
