A work on paper characterised by a black band painted around the edges of a sheet of paper, framing a Schermo (Screen) with rounded corners with the word ‘FINE’ (THE END) in the centre, a leitmotif in Mauri’s work, indicating a projection has just taken place. An identical but smaller version exists (inv. 152). For greater insight into the concept of ‘schermo’ in Mauri’s work, see the introductory essays.
