NOTE:
Portable wooden ladder that, thanks to a special pivot system, closes to form a cylinder. It was displayed once, hung from the wall among works at ‘Lavori in corso’ (Work in Progress) at MACRO in Rome in 1997. Ladders were a recurring element in Mauri’s work, used either as a biblical or pictorial reference, or as a device for ascension (inv. 641, 986, 3234).
