A metal ring element and a tennis racket protector frame, hung from an iron rod in the centre of a plate patinated with graphite. A pre-printed card for food orders is threaded from the latter. Above them, a white ball dominates the composition centrally, in the upper part of the plate. This work was part of Mauri’s ‘Autobiografia come teoria’ exhibition-installation (inv. 2171), in which the artist presented compositions of objects associated with his personal history on panels of identical format and craftsmanship.
