A sheet of black iron hangs on the wall above three military baskets made of wicker, cloth and leather, stacked and resting on the floor. The German word fleisch is stamped in the centre of the picture and on the upper basket’s cloth lid. This work was part of the ‘Picnic o Il buon soldato’ exhibition-installation (inv. 3204).
