Seven pairs of sunglasses, with round, mirror-painted lenses, juxtaposed in three rows at the centre of a white monochrome painting. Without forming a truly intelligible word, raised letters are freely arranged on the panel around the objects. The work is within an iron frame open to the sides, like the other paintings in the ‘Interno/Esterno’ exhibition-installation (inv. 3760), foreshadowing the topic tackled in Immigration Question (inv. 565, 566).
