Screen-drawing characterised by a black frame painted along the sheet’s edges, defining a ‘field for projection’ featuring a cone of yellow light projected onto a movie screen, presented in perspective. In the lower left-hand corner, a pencil-drawn cigarette, emitting a wisp of smoke, evokes the audience’s silent presence in the room. For greater insight into the concept of ‘schermo’ in Mauri’s work, see the introductory essays.
