NOTE:
Forty-eight aluminium characters, shaped and coated in graphite, arranged on the wall in six rows, composing the sentence, ‘È bello morire in pace con Dio con gli uomini con se stesso’. Created for the ‘Istantanea di un duca morto’ exhibition, the work cites the dying words of Amedeo d’Aosta, star of the installation (inv. 654).
