Three iron frames open on the sides, welded on top of one another to create a frame of considerable weight and thickness. Inside is a collage composed of the most disparate materials: photographs, prints, pieces of wood, a Durst photographic enlarger gauge, a galvanised nameplate, inner tubes, plastic, rusty iron sheets, scraps of paper, various work materials, a sheet of glass … A white ceramic electrical insulator leans up against the upper right-hand side of the frame. A digital projector broadcasts family films from an iron base placed in front of the picture: ‘Now, years later I’m projecting on pictures I worked so hard on. Unfinished pictures that I’ve even exhibited, but for one reason or another seemed to be lacking something. I had the impression they were finalised through projection. Pictures, poised to commence motion from within.’1
