NOTE:
The words ‘Questo mezzopunto è ariano’, embroidered in red thread in Gothic script on linen fabric. This work was part of the ‘Arierwiege’ exhibition-installation (inv.
1023), which in the exhibition space presented a domestic environment populated with various furnishings in refined style that the artist labelled ‘ariani’, exposing the ideology of a racially stratified society concealed by intellectual elegance.
