A large wooden propeller, worn down by time and the elements, displayed on the wall among the works at the ‘Picnic o Il buon soldato’ exhibition (inv. 3204). The propeller came from an Isotta Fraschini-brand engine. Known for its luxury cars, from 1911 this leading Italian company also manufactured engines for military use in ships, airplanes, airships and torpedo-armed motorboats, as well as trucks and troop transport trailers.
