NOTE:
Two square sheets of cotton paper, placed side by side, framed together to form a single, horizontally-oriented artwork. Dry-embossed on them are the words ‘lieto’ and ‘fine’ respectively on the right edge of the left-hand sheet and the left edge of the right-hand sheet, in the centre of the artwork. A wire thread extracted from a tyre spirals around the centre, spanning the two sheets. Framed by the artist, the collage was part of a set of works related to the ‘Art Negre’ concept (inv. 485).
