Invited to create an installation using an item of cardboard furniture made by the Liberamente association in Rome, Mauri chose a low table on which he arranged a composition of works, materials and objects from his own studio: a stove, photographs, a loudspeaker, two knobs, a belt, a collage (inv. 1061), a bone, some hair, a magnifying glass, a drawing on cardboard, a ball-globe, a disc, some charcoal, a bottle, a collage, a bar of soap, a small screen, some glasses and a toy shovel. The work was dismantled at the end of the exhibition, and many of the objects reused in subsequent works.
