An empty iron frame, one of those designed for paintings in the ‘Interno’ exhibition (inv. 3760), rests on a wooden folding chair used previously in the Intellettuale projection-installation (inv. 985). Next to the seat, a manual power generator – similar to the one inserted in inv. 562 – appears to have been left behind on the floor. The work presents a snapshot of the artist’s studio, populated by found, selected, bought and deposited objects, ‘waiting’ to become part of some work or other.
