A white A3 piece of cardboard, wrapped in semi-transparent paper, to which the last page of the artist’s book Der Politische Ventilator is glued (inv. 205). The document reports the decree of discharge, in which the president of the Civil and Criminal Court of Milan dismisses ‘Mauri Fabio di Umberto’ from the from the Ville Turro psychiatric hospital in Milan, since he has ‘regained a state of tranquillity and discernment that makes his further hospitalisation unnecessary.’ Mauri countersigned the document in the lower-right-hand corner, adding ‘visto si stampi’, an endorsement commonly used on typographic proofs to print. The same phrase provides the artwork’s title, centred at the bottom of the sheet in red transfer letters.
