NOTE:

Prototype for a majolica plate made in collaboration with artisan Antonio Ranocchia to mark the Prima mostra mercato nazionale del multiplo d’artista in maiolica (First National Market Exhibition of Artists’ Majolica Multiples), held in the city of Deruta in 1981. Invited by Cesare Vivaldi, Mauri took part in the Alchimia e suggestioni cromatiche section, tackling the theme of ‘metamorphoses of ceramic colour through firing’1 for decorating everyday objects. Mauri made four plates on different subjects on the theme of the Revelation.
