Drawing on paper that, in a layout reminiscent of Mauri’s protruding screens, reproduces the Carrozzina ebrea (inv. 309) artwork from 1971. The dry graphic rendering of the object recalls pictograms published in Mauri’s artist’s book, Der Politische Ventilator (inv. 205 , 791), where works from the ‘Ebrea’ exhibition-installation (inv. 3476) were presented as if they were elements from a commercial catalogue, graphically embodying that ‘secular assurance of contemporary ‘design’ so confident in ‘progress’ ‘1 that characterises the ‘cold’ and ‘unashamedly cultural’2 ‘Ebrea’ operation.
