This ‘photo-cartoon’ is split into two parts, cut out from a magazine and mounted on card. The upper part portrays a woman in a bar talking to a friend who unwittingly reveals the destination of the ship on which her husband was sailing. Overheard, the information triggers a news leak that leads to the sinking of the ship, as may be inferred from the warning in the lower photo that exhorts, ‘Careless talk costs lives’.
