Linocut print on paper, Il bene e il male parlano la stessa lingua reproduces a juvenile drawing executed by Adolf Hitler: a portrait of one of his teachers. Unlike similar works (inv. 341 and inv. 941), in this version the man’s entire rightside and head are covered in a swathe of black, censoring part of his body, face, and the ice cream. Neither signed nor numbered, ten versions of the artwork, originating from the artist’s studio, are known.
