Screen-drawing characterised by a black frame painted around the edges of a sheet of paper, defining a ‘field of projection’ within which, between some tempera and ink marks and a small image transferred as a decal, the inscription ‘fine’ (the end), a leitmotif in Mauri’s work and an indication that a projection has just taken place, dominates. For greater insight into the concept of ‘schermo’ in Mauri’s work, see the introductory essays.
