Work on paper composed of pictograms and figures spray-painted with synthetic oil enamels through masks, freely repeated on the sheet, against faded-spray backgrounds in bright industrial colours. The drawing was part of a series featuring the stylised image of a Cinema a luce solida (inv. 210), a palm tree reminiscent of one on the set of L’Isola (inv. 3438), and the inscriptions ‘THE END’ and ‘DIRECTOR’ (inv. 206) that, repeated serially, in some places resemble logos, in others dematerialise into abstract shapes, losing all reference to the works to which they allude.
