Screen-drawing characterised by a black frame painted along the edges of an image from which a triangle shape has been cut out, framing a decal shown on a piece of cardboard below, as well as a piece of black cardboard occupying the work’s right-hand side, sticking out at the bottom. The triangle here represents the cinematic cone of light passing through space, selecting and bringing new details to the foreground. For greater insight into the concept of ‘schermo’ in Mauri’s work, see the introductory essays.
