Schermo (Screen) characterised by a bipartite structure that in the upper part features a geometric canvas painting, veiled by semi-transparent, slightly projecting gauze; in the lower part, a monochrome blue background features six black-painted, wooden plaques with rounded corners. This work is part of a series of schermi made between 1960 and 1962, in which abstract elements, reprised from street signs, introduce traces of the urban context into the work.
