Picture consisting of a broken ‘first-generation’ paper Schermo (Screen) mounted in the centre of a white monochrome panel, within a frame that leaves it open on either side. Rather than restoring it, Mauri displayed the damaged work as an object represented in its material fragility, subject to the passage of Time and History.
