Picture made on the rear of a ‘first-generation’ Schermo (Screen), the frame of which can be discerned, divided horizontally into two parts: at the top, the Schermo in composite grey; at the bottom, a band with an inscription in red oil, ‘cinoema’, in which the diphthong appears to be intended as a way of Latinising the term. For greater insight into the concept of ‘schermo’ in Mauri’s work, see the introductory essays.
