NOTE:

A strip of folded opaline paper centred on a piece of white cardboard, revealing screenprinted black letters. The inverted, cut-out text is the address of the ‘Leo Castelli gallery/4 East 77 New York’, which Mauri used for a series of artworks (inv. 252) defined as ‘social’, pointing out, as the artist explained, ‘a great American art dealer, his address stands in for all other artwork content’.1
