Polymaterial collage on a 1970s drawing from the Formazione di un pensiero anarchico series (inv. 221–23),1 composed of glass photographic plates, paper cut-outs and small objects. Among these, we can make out: a cigar, a package of medical bandages, a fragment of a record, pieces of an Amstrad typewriter, numbered cards, a charcoal stick, a rusted nail head, an aluminium number ‘2’, a small photographic portrait embedded in an oval locket, two iron springs, pieces of wood and a piece of plastic bearing the inscription ‘The End’. The white paper background is positioned slightly diagonally on black cardboard glued to a board.
