NOTE:
Two pillows are displayed in finely worked cotton pillowcases, at the centre of which are embroidered the words ‘Cuscini’ on the first and ‘Ariani’ on the second, white on white. The work is one of the objects presented at the ‘Arierwiege’ exhibition at the Galleria Sauro Bocchi, Rome (inv. 593, 603, 1023).
