A finely wrought white cotton sheet embroidered with the words ‘Lenzuola ariane’ in cursive, white on white. The work was part of an ensemble of ‘Aryan objects’ presented at the ‘Arierwiege’ exhibition in 1995 (inv. 593, 603, 1023,). A signature and date are embroidered in white on the folded sheets in the lower left-hand corner, and again, handwritten on the plastic envelope containing them.
