Balanced on an iron stand, a lead-covered wooden board is packed with a variety of objects: inner tubes, skeins of electrical wire, lead-covered cans, a kitchen mould with a metal ladle, a tray, a blue spotlight, felt webbing, a wire brush and file, a plastic plate and ceramic bowl used for mixing colours, rubber cut-outs and a tray with an iron and a lead J in the centre. A rolled photograph, a close-up of Greta Garbo, emerges from one of the jars, hence the work’s title. It was part of the ‘Studenti’ exhibition-installation (inv. 3758).
