NOTE:

Item consisting of a leather-lined, tabletop photo frame displayed on a wooden base roughly half a metre high. Dominating the composition, the green-leather frame contains a small drawing/collage of a shadow man with a red wax spot in line with his chest, a barely legible scorched inscription, a wooden trough, a tuft of hair and two dates, ‘1952–1958’, written in red, stand out. A brass plate screwed into the rear of the frame gives the title of this work, from the ‘Ebrea’ exhibition-installation (inv. 3476).
